Remember me telling you this was supposed to be my "forever" house?Well, the ORIGINAL owners came to Open House yesterday.
They are in their early 80's.
Their kids looked it up on our realtors website so they could see the inside and they decided to come by yesterday.
They go to the movie every Friday afternoon.
Afterwards?
They drive by our (theirs and mine) 'forever' home and talk about one memory.
This house has felt like home from day 1.
Now I know why.
They paved the way for this house to be filled with love, laughter, friends, family, and Christ.
So honored to have spent the last 18 months here.
Sad I won't spend the next 18 years here...
Sorry you are having to leave such a special place! It is funny, Mark and I always talk about our very first house. Not that it was anything extraordinary, however, it is a good memory, plus it was where "we" began. Neat that you got to see the original owners though!
