Pearland Town Center

This is something I've not seen in West Texas. All over Houston, there are these outdoor malls. It is all the stores you would see in the mall, but in this super cool outdoor setting. We live about 2 mintues from Pearland's Town Center. It has anything I could need. It is the same place where Reese gets to play in the Splash Pad. It's just a cool alternative to the mall.

Swimming Pools

Let's face it, I'm a pool bum. I love the pool and we are there everyday. However, Hurricane Alex has put a big damper on it....we haven't been able to swim in over a week!

Texas Tech University

Let's face it, it's in my blood. I am so proud of where I am from and who I am. I am proud of being a graduate of Tech. I know I know....not a lot of people care about Tech when A&M and Texas are supposedly "THE" universities, but I grew up Lubbock and Tech and they are both just who I am.


Toms Shoes

Do you have a pair of these? Really? Go get some now. They have some solid colors and then they have some funky prints. I am the proud owner of 4 pairs and they are quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Plus, for every pair you buy, they give a pair to a child in need.

Laura Bush

Again, I'm from Texas, so yes, I like GDub and Laura. I mean, like really like them. They just seem like such cool, down to earth people and I fully believe they are compassionate and caring. There are very few people who would be willing to be the President and First Lady so I think before we go and bash them, we should try to walk a mile in their shoes. I love how spiritual they are and after reading Laura's book, I love them even more.
NOTE: This is my blog. I like them. Y ou don't have to. Don't go 'hatin' because I am a fan of the Bush family...

Glee

What am I? 12? I don't care, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. I usually watch it after my boys have gone to bed because I often sing along. I love how they do current artists....LOVE LOVE LOVE

Galveston Beach

Since moving to Houston, a once vacation spot has become a weekend favorite. I LOVE the beach. It's an awesome way to spend a weekend...so far we've been 3 times and honestly, I could make it every weekend...
